Late last Fall, when there was just a little nip in the air but the leaves were still clinging to the trees, Husband and I decided to spend an afternoon in the park. But this time just for fun, we invited one of our very favorite photographers, Leah Bullard, to come along and document our adventure. While we take a lot of pictures, we’ve never been great at capturing photos of the two of us–we never even had engagement photos taken. So this year, we’re going to correct that.
If you’ll remember, we ended up using one of these photos for our holiday cards, and we were so pleased with how they turned out. Leah has such a gift for capturing light and those little details that I tend to nerd out over. Plus, she’s such sweetheart that it’s easy to be yourself in front of the camera. Hannah, my husband “Gene” & I were members at your dads church in Ft. Oglethorpe (FOUMC), so you probably don’t remember us; however, you may remember Jessica, our daughter. Just a little history for you. The pictures are AWESOME !!! Gene & I have never, at least in the past thirty-eight years, had any really good photographs taken. Reason being I didn’t want just the same old routine pic’s taken. When your mother shared these photos I thought this is exactly the photos I want for Gene & I. Something similar to photo-journerling. I would love to have information reguarding this photographer to hopefully obtain some ideas about her work & the possibility of maybe utilizing her for some long over due photographs. Hannah, your pictures are beautiful! Long before you were born, I was friends with your parents and prayed alongside them. It is a wonderful thing to look at you and know that you are here because we believed God for you 🙂 He is faithful and we are thankful! God bless you with His very best in all you do.
